Trekking to Rainbow Mountain - Vinicunca Full Day

Experience a beautiful route to the Valley of Ausangate in a walk of only about 1 hour, in which we will appreciate a chain of mountains that as we go upwards they will change their colors until we reach Vinicunca known as the Mountain of 7 colors or Arco Iris for its similarity to the colors of the Rainbow and known as Cerro Colorado. The Vinicunca mountain is located at 5,200 meters above sea level, and due to the large amount of minerals that have been revealed as a result of the thaw, its colors have attracted hundreds of tourists per year.

ITINERARY OF TREKKING TO RAINBOW MOUNTAIN - VINICUNCA FULL DAY
Our journey to the Sacred Mountain of Vinicunca will start by picking you up from your Hostel in Cusco in our tourist mobility around 04:00 to 04:30 a.m.

We will travel to the south side of the city of Cusco through picturesque villages whose buildings will vary as we go up to reach the district of Cusipata, from here we will go to the small townwhere we will enjoy a delicious and energetic breakfast.

After breakfast we will continue in the tourist mobility to QomerQocha, from this point we will begin our walk to the Rainbow Mountain - Vinicunca, the road will take us around 45 to 1 hour of ascent to 5,200 meters above sea level.

Along the way we can see some South American camelids, settlers with their typical costumes and the change in the coloration of the mountains to Vinicunca where we can enjoy the landscape of the entire Vilcanota mountain range.

We will initiate the return to the parking lot where mobility will be waiting for us to return where we will enjoy of a delicious lunch.

After lunch we will return to the city of Cusco where we will be arriving around 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
